Why altCNC?
Our method focuses on hands-on learning. Unlike a traditional classroom setting that requires a set schedule and an instructor led approach, altCNC allows you to learn on your own time and at your own pace. With altCNC, you start with the basics and advance your skills through each lesson, ensuring you have the foundation required to truly understand Fusion.
What’s included?
Once you’ve purchased your subscription and received your username and password you will be able to log into our course site. This gives you access to the materials 24/7 and only requires a computer with wifi.
Each course consists of a series of lessons that provide step-by-step instructions to create a part and corresponding toolpath. Video and written instructions ensure a variety of learning styles are accommodated. Instructions can be printed for future reference.
Where does the program take place?
The program is entirely online and accessible 24/7. There are no set class times as the program is self directed.
Is the program open to participants from outside North America?
altCNC is available to students worldwide, however all instructions and videos are in English, and imperial measurements.
What do I need to be successful in this program?

Dedicated time each week to work through the courses. Although the program is designed to work on your schedule, we recommend 1 hour, 3 to 4 times a week for optimum results.
